Activities
Several activities will take place during the three days of the Salon.

Youth Space Planned at level S2 in an 80 m² room, this space will allow children and teenagers to discover peace initiatives as well as the different aspects of the culture of peace and non-violence that thouch them directly.
Relying on the rich experience of the various organisms participating in the Salon, a team will organize in this space different activities conceived particularly for the young public. The discovery and learning of cooperative games and of peace tales will be some of the activities presented in this space.

Interactive workshops In level S2 as well, two 40-m² rooms will be reserved for training workshops, interactive activities and meetings with witnesses or peace and non-violence actors.
Through role-play, forum-theater, artistic activities, mime, visitors will be invited to live a peace and non-violence experience related to their daily lives.

Spectacles and shows During the day, spectacles and shows for children and adults will allow them to discover, through theater, danse or music, how dialogue can be chosen as a tool instead of violence.

Exhibitions and screenings
Throughout the Salon, cultural spaces will address visitors' imagination and will invite them to think and discuss.

Artistic exhibitions Exhibitions of sculptures, paintings, photographs, posters, drawings or other creations will show the contribution made by art to the culture of peace and non-violence.

Pedagogic exhibitions Some exhibitions will present the culture of peace and non-violence in its historic dimensions or will illustrate the diverse initiatives of civil society in favor of dialogue, tolerance and non-violence.
Other, more interactive, exhibitions will involve the visitors through inviting them to think about their own behavior and their own lives and through inciting them to look for solutions implying the respect of the other, the value of exchange and participation in collective life.

Screening of films The Salon will also be the occasion for screening films and documentaries dedicated to peace experiences, crisis resolutions, and mediation examples. These screenings can be followed by debates with the directors.

Festive soirée
During te Salon, the French Coalition for the Decade wishes to organize a big festive soirée, through the organization of a concert or a spectacle on the theme of peace and non-violence in the amphitheater Gaston Berger that can gather more than 900 persons (access level S2).
